I’m beginning my own Renaissance – awakening to my new life.  And it seems only appropriate that this rebirth gain steam in the beginning of the new year.  I am excited.

It hasn’t been especially easy.  Natural – yes.  Being quiet.  Listening to my heart.  Letting go of fear to create…that hasn’t always been easy.

How do we step back?  How do we take time to reflect?  Change isn’t easy – even if we know it’s inevitable.  Change brings doubt.  A lost sense of control…doing what we know, but maybe not what we love.

It boils down to being who we want to be…which leads to doing to be.  Not knowing what the future holds can bring worry.  Clinging to the past and what could have been brings depression.

A few things to think about.

·      Choose to focus on what you can create – not what you can’t control.

·      Choose to be who you want to be, and you will know what to do.

·      Change doesn’t have to be big.  Take small steps.  Feel your way through it.  Be patient.

·      Trust yourself.  And be gentle with you.

“Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
